Spiegel Automata

The Spiegel Automata is an enchanting coin operated, automated artwork, with twenty separately moving parts and characters. The automata presents  a wondrous five minute performance for the cost of pretty much any coin in any denomination (see video below).

The Automata was commissioned by Spiegelworld in in 2013 and completed in 2015. It was exhibited at the Victorian Arts Centre Melbourne in February 2016 and now travels with Spiegelworld shows in the US.
